Is Chiropractic safe?

Chiropractic is safe, gentle, and effective. In fact, chiropractic is the fastest growing drug free healing profession in the world today, serving over two million people per day. Chiropractors maintain the lowest malpractice insurance rates of any primary health professional in the world, which is a tremendous credit to the safety record throughout the entire chiropractic profession. Dr. Peritz conducts a thorough examination to determine which Chiropractic techniques are the most appropriate as well as most effective.


Do I need x-rays?

There is no way of knowing if you need an x-ray until you have been examined. Dr. Peritz only orders x-ray studies when it is clinically indicated.

     • Activator (use of an impact instrument to adjust the neck and back)

Is it OK to see a chiropractor if I am pregnant?

Pregnant women frequently get positive results from chiropractic care. Dr. Peritz is trained in special techniques for adjusting pregnant women. Because of the advised inability to take medication for pain, the natural approaches of chiropractic are the logical choice for pregnant women. Obstetricians are increasingly referring to due to the efficacy of spinal adjustments for pain relief.
